Anyone as unlucky as me ?

Coming up to 450 miles, and I've suffered SEVEN breakdowns, all electrical. AA locally's getting to know me. The bike just 'dies', and sometimes re-starts, sometimes mph changes to kph and I have to change it back. Of course, when the bike fails to re-start the AA gets called (twice) with five eventual spontaneous re-starts. I'm wondering if I bought the right bike. Is it the Chinese influence ? Are other forum members happy ? I really value opinions, as this'll help decide whether to accept the bike back, repaired again, or to cut my losses and run. Thanks

If you got it new I think you have a good case for either rejecting a faulty bike or getting a new replacement. I think if there is a certain number of breakdowns in a given time it can be rejected?
Don't let a faulty bike put you off, they're good bikes.

I've never had problems like that - in 12k miles  :002:

I'd get it back to the dealer, with as much info as you can, as to what / when it goes wrong.

If I was you bud think it time to have a word with the dealer, only electrical problem I have had was with the switch on the clutch lever.
The dealer switched the switch problem solved.

No problems with mine as yet (touch wood), coming up to 12 months and ~6,000km on the clock.

Thanks to everyone for your valued advice. It seems that the Inazuma is basically a good bike. This problem arose a week or so ago, and had been 'fixed'. I've talked to the dealer today, they're coming to my home, picking up my bike, and leaving a demo model for me. They'll cover me on their insurance while I have the demo. I'm happy with the service, and thanks again everyone. Oiler

Sounds like electrical gremlins, hope the shop gets it taken care of. I wish motorcycle shops here had loaner bikes. Auto places have "Courtesy" cars but not motorcycle shops.

I've been promised a RED Inazuma, to my door at midday today. I'll be able to report back whether red ones really are faster ! :305:
