The bag looks the part, I like the pop up pouch which should take away some of the glare, Don't know what to go for yet,
How's your bike running for you, Have you had her on any long runs yet ?

    PS,
One of the lads said you should put some sort of protection between the bag and the tank to save the paint work... Cant remember if this should be done in the magnetic area or under the bag

    Hi Tayto,

I did 3 journeys from my house to my fathers in Kent (550 mile round trip) over a 5wk period last summer...very impressed with the comfort (especially the seat) and mpg.
I've used a smaller, Oxford tank bag a lot with no additional paint protection, this has a protective rubber backing , similar to the Rentec, over the base and straps so I'm hoping its going to be the same :002:

    Hi wasuma,
Maybe you should think about getting a tank protector just to protect the tank.  Well done on the long runs.  I am waiting for the sun to  get out riding again. :152:

Again welcome to the forum.  Enjoy and ride safe.

I wrote a reply to this a day or so ago but for some reason it never posted.. could be down to something i did or didn't do,

Thats a fair spin dude, we should be calling you rawhide  :002:   There's another new chap that wants to know if doing 70 to 75mph on a 100 mile round trip will stress the engine... I thought you might be able to fill him in one way or the other,

his thread is called  "Freeway Riding and RPMs" you migh be able to advise  :062:

And a very good reply it is, :028:  JP will be well pleased to not have the worry that the bike might not be up to handling the speeds,  :821:

Some great places to see along the West coast line, How long will you's be staying ?
Are you Camping or B/B, I found a bit of stealth camping is the way to go on these trips... Just find a spot during the day that you would like to wake up.. then go back when its dark and set up camp,

Below are pictures of my pitch, this was near Cork Harbour where they would much prefer you to use one of they're pay per night sites... Anyways let me know your basic plan and if I can point you's in the right direction I would be happy to help make your stay a memorable one.

    Hi Tayto,

    Love those pics :002:
Not camping this time. One of my associates is self employed and can only be away a short period so we'll have 4 days  (I did say a short tour!)..this time anyway.
We sail from Liverpool on the eve of 7th June and my Zuma will be joined by two Honda Firestorms :002: Thanks for the offer of some pointers. Let
you know more when I've firmed things up a bit.

Them pictures were taken around 5am, didnt get to sleep till around 2.30 and was woken by the dawn chorus at 3:45, a wood pigeon up one of the tree's I was under started it off with his   HOO HOO, HOO HOO,  I lay there thinking he might piss off in a bit ... Then one of his mates started in the distance, within 15 minutes the whole wood erupted with chatter,

I think it will be B/B next time I'm in that area,  Roll on the summer   Cant wait to do it all again, if I aint workin I will try meet up with you's  :028:
