Header pipe issues

I took no chances just gave a another coat or two.

I had ID'd the collector as a potential weak point just from looking at photos. The paint is a good way to go to ward off the rust & I reckon it should be done ASAP to all machines if they are to be subjected to bad weather.

BBQ heat resistant paint applied to mine, I think if you riding the winter months its a must.

Can you show a pic of where you mean please, I'm still not 100% sure where you mean?

The collector box, under the sump and then each individual pipe, leading to the silencers.

Ah cheers, that can include the front pipes that go into the box to can it?

The downpipes are chromed, so should be ok with regular cleaning, tho the joint where they join the collector box will need watching.

It's a fact that all exhaust pipes will eventually rot. It's a fact. And the more you use the vehicle, the less the muffler corrodes.

My brother's father in law has 3 taxis that are used in 24 hour shifts. After 4 years, the mufflers are intact.

If we use them eveyday the heat doesnt let the water do its dirty work so keeps them solid. Ill be making sure Blue gets used very regularly
