No definitely not spam. I mean high quality canned bacon. It used to be on the shelves about 30 years ago here. I heard it was perfect for camping too.

My local supermarket deli slices all meats to order, all the big chains do it here. You export your criminals and end up jealous when they end up living in gods country.

Andy, I don't think we ever had that type of bacon in the UK (more's the pity). We just had to put up with Spam , delicious though. When I was a kid, we had a shop called 'Home & Colonial' which sold, as the name suggests, produce from the Uk, and the colonies. An old, old man (probably in his forties,but I was very young) would stand dressed in a white coat in front of the hand operated bacon slicer, slicing to order, and wrapping said dead pig in grease-proof paper.
Rucifa, can we have our criminals back now please?, it's gone on long enough. You should try Northern Ireland sometime in summer, biking heaven.
