New Tyres

Any of you guys fitted new tyres yet?

I was eyeing up some Michelin Pilot Road 4s but it looks like they don't make them in 140/70 for the rear . They do make them in 150/70 though, I'm not too familiar with how tyre sizes work but would these fit on the Inazuma?

With a quick search it is difficult to find the size of the zuma

I found this in the service manual.

Front tire size .......................................................................... 110/80-17 M/C 57H, tubeless
Rear tire size........................................................................... 140/70-17 M/C 66H, tubeless

I have heard that Metzeler are one of the best for motorycle tyres. Although they are expensive I have heard very many positive reviews. Search on their site and it will tell you which tyres match.

Yes I only use Metzeler tyres, have used them for years have never had any problems and will be using them on Moist when the time comes.

Looks like the stock rear tyre size is a bit awkward and the higher end tyres I've looked at don't come in it's size.  I'll ask at my local tyre shop next time I pass to see how well a 150/70 would fit on the rim, there shouldn't be any clearance issues with the swing arm or chain.

tbh, there are more opinions than tyre manufacturers, but if you can, I'd stick with the standard profile

Never tried Metzelers, but I have used Dunlop's, Bridgestone's, Avon's, Michelin's, over the years

None make bad tyres these days.
Plenty of tread left on mine, I won't be changing till I need to

I had Metzeler on my transalp and it was perfect. I want only the standard profile for my zuma

My tyres are still okay but when the time comes I may very well put Metzeler.

Yes mine it's perfect too. When the bike turns two years or 15000 km ( what came first)
I will change them.
