 :002:I had no real problems with GWInazuma (a guy called Mike). Original order confirmation was pretty quick although the actual despatch was a bit slow and even though they came by air it took a little bit longer than expected, but not too bad. Their web site was set up to calculate shipping costs wrong and when this was discovered they actually refunded about half of what I had already paid for freight which I thought was a fairly honest thing to do. Mostly their replies to my questions regarding fitting came back promptly; unfortunately it seems I was not making myself too clear (???) because some of the replies didn't really address the issues I was raising. Perhaps there was a bit of a language barrier.

The only extra parts I needed were an extra washer, and an old (longish) nut I used as a spacer. Even though longer bolts to replace the originals that go through the ends of the guards into the bar ends would be ideal, I made do with the originals by leaving out a rubber spacer on each side (that squashes up inside the bars).

In fairness, he got straight on to it, I've now got a tracking no.
It's in a Chinese distribution centre (24/10), so should be on the way soon

Well, they arrived today ( 30/10 )
Pretty good all the way from China, after that initial slight delay.

There are no instructons, other than what's on the website :

Installation is quick and simple. Installation only requires 4 bolts to be removed and put back on to the handlebar/clutch/front break. Installation is as follows:
-Remove bolt from clutch and front break levers.
-Remove Bolt for hand grip ends.
-Insert Hand Guards
-Screw bolt back into clutch and front break levers
-Screw bolt back into hand grip ends.
-Finished.

I'll have a go at the weekend

Well, all done.

I've found similar problems to Kaitoro

This is the kit as supplied :

I used the original bar ends and bolts, but as Kaitoro said, the bracket for the right side cannot be fitted above the brake lever. It has to fit underneath. That means you need a spacer to fit between the bracket and the handguard. As I wasn't using the supplied bar end (plastic) I cut a section off it to use as a spacer :

Works well, this is what it looks like fitted :

The bracket for the left hand side is not long enough. The clutch lever catches on the inside of the guard. I made a new one out of a piece of ally, I had lying around :

I'll tidy it up a bit and paint it, when I've used it for a few days, and I'm sure it's ok.

While all the above was a bit of hassle, they're clearly generic guards, not Inazuma specific as you might assume from the website.
I'm quite happy with the result. The main thing is keeping my hands out of the windblast this winter, but they don't look too bad, esp from the riders eye view.

And they cost £26 including postage, which is half any alternative I found in this country

Good job there Rob. Explained well.
While the guards are not high on my list, I can appreciate their value in the cold

 (- would keep the bugs off my gloves though )

Used them for the first time this morning.

It was about 3' C last night.

Certainly keep wind chill down,  but I think a set of heated grips will be next on the list  -  must be getting old
