Sprocket, front: Anyone found a 16 T that will fit; does it "work"?

I'd like to chop the bit-chomping nature of the engine - a lot. But I'm not sure if there's such a unit or if it won't fit, or will resist takeoff, etc. All opinions welcome, experience more valued.

I've recently gone the rear sprocket route, reduced to 41T and left the front sprocket at 14T.

It's changed the bike to suit my riding style, less revvy at motorway speeds and will sit at 70 all day. I'm a heavy rider and it copes with this gearing with ease.

I now find the Inazuma more than adequate for my needs, round town and a 90 mile round trip commute. It still sips fuel too.

Not sure about the 16t sprocket but I think the majority purchased the 15t sprocket from a company called 'Ali Express'. This reduced the rpm by a little over 500 rpm if I remember right but obviously affected the speedo reading.

People also found that sprockets that were designed for the Suzuki TW250 also fit but the sprocket was marginally thinner so it needed a small washer behind it.

I’m new to this forum thingy so hopefully aiming in the right direction.  A 41t rear was mentioned. Can you advise where it was purchased from and whether chain needs shortening.

You should be able to get away without shortening the chain but it depends on the wear on your chain. Easy enough to remove 2 x links though if needed.

To confirm, I used a JT 14T & 41T sprockets using a 114 link chain. 116 link will be too long.
