Thanks Amber! I am more frustrated then anything. I just want to get out and ride but it seems that everything is taking so long.....I will let you all know how it goes on Monday. Maybe by next weekend I will have something shout about. But even then I have two assignments due so who knows when I will get the chance to take him out...... Sigh.

Heh, welp here it's called the gw250, which it did have stickers that I removed. I took the muffler off more so to make it louder and more noticeable to traffic than to make it lighter. As for the side panels, I was curious to see how it looked a little more naked.

You are very brave Amber!!! I am not in your league.... :020:

I measured In tonight and he is 760mm from ground to the top of the seat at the front where I sit. I believe that IS a drop of 30mm? Off to the seat man tomorrow so hopefully that will be a good outcome! :047:

I dont think the seat is comfy as it is without removing some material looking forward to the outcome.

Did you blank off the right hand side of the collector or leave it open when you removed the muffler? Has the change made any difference to performance? Sorry for all the questions, just curious!  :002:

No worries, grumpy. I just left it open. If I do upgrade to a different muffler, I'd probably plug one side. And I haven't noticed any performance differences since taking one off. Although I'm no expert so I don't know if I'd be able to notice any subtle differences anyway.

Took bike to the dealer yesterday - the damaged parts are being replaced no questions asked.  :047: :046: :152:

Bike seat is in and he is trimming it down at the sides and taking off as much as he can but still leaving me some cushion (I have enough of that naturally anyway) so here is hoping it is all good. He said he can get me at least another 25mm.

    Happy days!
