First problem detected...
« on: December 04, 2015, 02:20:13 PM »
Today I had my first "problem" with the Inazuma.

After 300-500m of riding, I stopped to talk with a friend, and I noticed that the engine was wat.
With a closed inspection I saw that there was coolant leaking from the circuit.

I got home, and started to disassemble the Inazuma.

I saw that there was a leak from the connection of the radiator cap to the water hose.
I tighten both collars and I guess it's OK now..

The good news is that I saw it before all the water disappeared and also I learned how to remove the fuel tank cover without breaking it into pieces  :).

I refill with coolant and I guess it's ready to run again :)
I have to check it for some days, and next time it will go to Suzuki's workshop, as it's under warranty (only 2300km so far).

At least you spotted it, before any damage was done :028:

Keep an eye on it, but it shouldn't happen again :002:

Lucky you caught it in time, but probably just a loose fitting from first install. A good reminder to occasionally go over your bike quickly in-between services though.

What is critical is NOT to leave the plastic tank empty of coolant.
This will allow air to enter the cooling circuit and afterwards will need to bleed the radiation (that's easy) and all over the remaining circuit (that's a bit more difficult)...

Today it was a very good day for a test ride, but I had no time for that...

Anyway, tomorrow's just another day, as Madness said :)
