    15000km Service

Hey guys! On Friday I completed the 15k service although I've actually done 16k. Due to work I can only service when the school where I work is closed. Friday it was closed for thanksgiving. I'm not American but now I love thanksgiving!

So the service included general inspection, valve clearance (all OK) oil change, air filter, brake fluid and engine coolant. In all honesty they gave me the option about the last two, but I figured better to be safe than sorry.

The brakes are OK, front has still got original pad and is still in the middle. The rear has plenty as only changed it in may. The chain needed cleaning and tightening. Will be keeping on top of this more now as I've moved house and nearby is a private underground carpark where my baby now sleeps. So when I need to lube or clean it I can do it there, just will take an old sheet to put on the ground not to make a mess on my spot!

Now the bike has closed parking it has already made a noticeable difference in starting and warming up. Not that I previously had any issues but obviously it is in a warmer and drier climate now.

After 16k the bike is running really well.

They advised that at the next service it would be best to change the spark plugs. By then I will have had them 10k. I think it sounds logical. What do you think guys?

10,000 k is the recommended interval

    Like most of Suzuki's recommendations, I think that's a little 0TT  :002:

Good news blue, It's nice to know that I should continue to have trouble free riding for a while longer. I bought front and rear pads as I thought they'd both probably need doing but there was still plenty left on them at my 10K service.
