    Hi all .
when the speed does not pass , release the clutch lever slightly and then disengage again and speed passes very easily.

First gear is so low, I never shift into 1st unless I'm stopped.  I could have sworn the recommended downshifting speeds are listed in the Owner's manual, but my quick thumb through came up empty.  I'll check my original and post those recommendations if I find it.

The recommended shifting schedule from the 2013 Owners Manual SECTION 5-4.
Attempted to attach a picture, but couldn't make it small enough and still be legible.

    SHIFTING UP SCHEDULE:
    1>2.  20 KMH, 12 MPH
    2>3.  30 KMH  19 MPH
    3>4.  40KPH.   25 MPH
    4>5.  50KPH.   31 MPH
    5>6.  60 KPH.  37 MPH

    DOWNSHIFTING SCHEDULE
    6>5.  50 KPH.  31 MPH
    5>4.  40 KPH.  25 MPH
    4>3.  30 KPH.  19 MPH
Disengage the clutch when the motorcycle speeds drops below 20 KPH / 19 MPH.
