Ive just cut down the rear end of my bike,(off cuts shown on ground)  Started by removing number plate and  light  , marked a line from no plate mounting to light mounting and cut off the corner. this allows plate to be mounted higher . Then I cut off plastic beneath plate mount. Its not finished ,will have to do bit of trimming and tidying . going to make a patch from offcut to fill hole behind plate . will use led lighting  bolts to mount plate, and stick on reflector to make it legal. Did it  without removing it from bike. just had to remove rear lens to give clearance for hacksaw and Stanley knife

    Nice work Martin!
Are you looking into changing the rear indicators as well? I reckon these would look nice.

Neat job, Martin...don't be surprised if you end up with a wet back if you're out in the rain, though!  :038:

I often have a topbox fitted, hopefully it will keep most of the rain off my back
