out of curiosity is that a spring perch? (the pic you posted as the part that got replaced?) oh and spring perch being a part the spring sits on? if so.. are you able to remove it all together?

also. height of front forks wont change the height of the seat by that much. what is the before and after measurement of the seat height?

Hey, I just thought I'd chime in since I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. I'm 5'1". When I bought the bike I took it to get my seat shaved down a little. I can get my left foot mostly flat down with my right foot on the brake while stopped, fully flat depending on the street surface. If both feet are down, I'm just about at the balls of my feet on both sides. I'm still considering looking into a lowering kit, just to get more of both feet on the ground. I haven't touched the suspension yet, but might try that first to see if the sag will help at all.

These aren't seat specific pics, but it's all I have right now. I'll try to get some better ones this weekend. I'm not sure how much they took off, but the sides and the top were shaved down.

Hi Amber, welcome to the forum!  :002:

Looks like a good professional job on the seat, but you seem to be missing a silencer/muffler...and some side panels! Is that for the 'look' or weight saving?
