That's a very impressive number for 6 months, can you tell us of any little things that have come up in that time, any small problems?

I've checked and the levels are fine.

Re the problems, none really. My only issue is the IRC tyres. I ride all weathers (including a recent monsoon), and to be perfectly honest my confidence drops as soon as the heavens open.

Aside from that, I clean the bike every week, keep the chain lubed and check the levels as best I can. Keep the services up to date and the bike continues to deliver.

I am considering A new bike though, purely as I'm ruining my trade values due to mileage. I've lost circa 20% all ready! the ministry for home finances and social harmony (the missus) isn't impressed.

what are you considering maybe something bigger?

The cheapest way round this is to buy a 2nd hand bike with very few miles on it, let someone else take the financial hit.

tbh, I prefer to buy new, as I then know the bike's been looked after.
My answer is to do as many miles as possible, and regard any loss as the cost of enjoying the bike to the full.

When i was a kid my father sold our old car to buy a new one.
After a month i saw the car on the road and i was in pain, i was mad with my father
and hated the new car.
My old bike is now 14 years old and is like new. I can't sell anything

I'm guessing the water cooling system is sealed like a cars, and because of this I don't feel the need to check the water level that much really, as checking the cars has always shown the same level. Unless of course there's a fault?

It's not sealed if it over heated you will have a small bomb if it was sealed. You have an exit for the boiled water, And the cars is the same. For sunny countries you have to check it often.

what are you considering maybe something bigger?

I'm considering the Gladius 650 but NZ Suzuki offer very few bikes and only the Gladius non-abs. If my Inazuma had 5 more bhp I'd be happy as if the motorway is clear cruising at 110kph at 7/8000 revs does vibrate...

Part of me things I should throw on a Yoshi (2bhp) gain and continue with my Zuma through until 30000km...I just don't know.

I'm considering the Gladius 650

I once drove a friend's SV 650 (very similar to Gladius) ans has a lot of punch! Not 5 more HP than the Zuma.
If you are considering to upgrade, it's a great option. I just wish Suzuki still had the GSR600 in its roster

The cooling system IS pressurised and "Sealed" the same as your car, water boils at 100c
But if it's under pressure it increases the boiling point, thats why you fit a radiator cap.
The system in the Zuma is just above 1 bar.
