Bad weather riding

Good idea to hibernate in Scotland today the wind is pumping at 45mph according to my weather station in Nairn

Its blowing its nuts off down the east-coast gusts up to 90mph been recorded.

George you luck man still very windy here and had a tidal surge last night the coast took a good hiding here but all ok been fitting floats to Moist

do anyone of you chaps ride during a thunderstorm and how much of a risk do you think it is?

Iv ridden in some bad weather, can't remember if thunder and lightening was going on at the same time but can't see a problem as we don't touch the ground with anything that conducts, so we don't earth out which you have to do to be electrocuted I believe.

I've been caught in several Joburg thunderstorms and apart from getting VERY wet nothing much happened.
