Making my after market exhaust more quiet

The GW250 I recently bought has a two into two full Black Widow exhaust fitted. Even with the supplied baffles in place I found it a bit loud. I bought a couple of these silencer inlet baffles and they make it just perfect.

That's a good idea, never really been a fan of noisy exhaust systems. Been spoilt in the last few years with a hybrid car, that is exceptionally quiet.

The drone of a loud exhaust soon gets tiresome on a long trip.

I still have stock mufflers on my 2013 GW250.  They make just enough sound, without being too much.  I'm a life long Honda Nighthawk rider.  So, I like quiet.  This Suzuki (from China) has not disappointed me.

I agree completely. My previous GW had a stick exhaust system and it sounded fine however this bike came with the full stainless system fitted.

Just waiting for these to come back into stock now as I'd also like to quieten down my stainless system a bit!

The sound of the standard exhaust was perfect for me but it had complete rotted out.

It says "silencer inlet" - so does this go between the link pipe and the silencer, halfway through the system? Seems innovative!

Yes, you remove the silencer, pop the baffle into the inlet end of the silencer then reinstall silencer. Mine have been in for over 1000 miles now and I haven’t noticed any reduction in performance or economy.

I just wanted to say thankyou - fitted my db killer yesterday and it has calmed the exhaust note down a bit. The neighbours will be pleased at 0600!
