I know the recall had to do with water getting into the rear brake light switch. How can I tell if it's been done? Or do I have to go to Suzuki with the VIN to see if they have a record of it?

I got the recall done a few weeks ago.
I tried a photo but it is many many times the allowable size so I can just describe it.
Remove the RIGHT side-cover.  One screw at the back edge will unhook it.
The cable/wire from the switch runs up along the diagonal frame tube.
The old one had a little green, I think, connector about 2/3 the way up.
The replacement has a big rubber boot around it.
    I hope this helps.
