I had to go to my local train station to buy a train ticket.  IN doing so I spotted a bike that initially seemed identical to my Black GWF (Faired) EXCEPT it had twin discs. Now I went over and looked at it and it was a Suzuki but not a 250.  It was a 1250S  Touring.
Excluding some Cosmetic Differences it had all the same general parts.  The fairing parts were identical. The fact it had twin discs and two clocks did not make it that different.  Now if the owner was about or anyone else looking at me studying the bikes side by side they must have wondered what the devil I was doing.  After much study I would say that the FRAMES and wheels are the same. 
Would Suzuki use the same frame for two totally different bikes??  Why not if they work.  I suspect that there are only a few even within Suzuki who would confirm this.

Tbh, there's no way the 2 bikes use the same frame.

Styling might have similarities, but I doubt any parts are interchangeable

Hi Trurider - I can see the similarities with the GSF1250S (or Bandit for short  ).  But, they are only similar from a very long way away - and with rose-tinted specs on    A guy at my work was commenting on a design last week and he said, "if you ignore the differences, they are identical".  And that is very true - I could not argue 

They always used to say the Inazuma was styled like the Suzuki B-King, which is one pretty ugly bike in my opinion.  But I checked it out again, and I can see the similarities with the headlight, and "shoulder" fairings.  For me, the Inazuma was never an "ugly" bike - I like the way it looks, but I can see they copied some B-King styling cues.

I suppose the old adage "each to their own", or "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" is very applicable to bikes.  Everyone likes something a bit different
