Ali Express - membership and all

I thought I'd posted this a couple of days ago.

I applied to Al Express for the 15T engine sprocket. It gave a long list of legalize, and suggested I had to become a "member". That threw up a few red flags.

Many of you have used this service. Was the above part of your experience, and did you withdraw from "membership" after delivery?

I'm quite hesitant to use online services such as this, where I give my credit card info to a foreign entity.

Well I am in the Uk and have used Ali Express 3 times without any problem.

Quite the opposite in fact, when I ordered the items I was quoted something like 28 days for delivery and the items arrived within about 14.

Not sure if the COVID issues will affect delivery times but I would say you can order with confidence from them.

I've ordered one item - that got lost somewhere.
Due to the longish delivery time, it took a while to realise it wasn't coming, but they did send a replacement, when I complained.

This was a while ago, don't remember having to sign up as a member

Ya; well that's good to hear, about their integrity. I guess if you proceed without actually signing up, you'll see what my aprehension is. But it sounds like a good result. I can't seem to get that 15T at my mc shop, and they're a really big multi-brand outlet.
