It's a nice cruising bike isn't it, especially getting around Sydney and commuting, relaxed riding etc.

Yeah man, ripper cruiser for the commute, but need it to sit on lower revs for the freeway, so I'm currently doing my research haha

Yep, hitting 6 gear and revving high down the freeway but then again it's not a 600 or 1,000+ engine of course.

Don't get too hung up about the high RPM. at freeway speeds.  Most of us found that the engine runs sweet at high revs and will happily do it for very long periods time and time again.  Just keep up with the oil changes and you should not have a problem.

I used to ride mine at motorway speeds (70 - 75) for hundreds of miles and it was never a problem. I see you have already asked about sprockets on another forum question to which I have responded but again I will add, just one tooth difference on the front (larger) will make a nice difference without any issues on performance.  :821:

70/75 mph and peddling like hell. Morning mate back to square one again.
Never mind, maybe all will be OK in a year or two. 😂

How you keeping? Well I hope. Ventured out to the front doorstep earlier on, beat a hasty retreat because it is bloody freezing and I don't like the cold.

Must start the mini Harley, first time for two months. Yours still under blankets is it? Son took his out for a run before Christmas, didn't go far because it was so cold. Hell he is getting soft.

Take care mate, wrap up warm.

Cheers👍

Hi mate

Yep - Harley came out on Monday, ran for a while then was put back under cover until Bojo gives the green light.
Having worked for the NHS and still having friends who do I am reliably advised things aren't nowhere as near as bad in the hospitals as the news and social media are saying. Still, rules is rules.

No doubt your jab will be soon - am expecting a call about mine anyday now so will then be able to erm still sit here and do nothing! lol.

Stay warm and lets hope for better days to come eh!  :821:
