Brake Pads
« on: August 23, 2020, 05:53:16 AM »
 :046:Hi All
I have just removed the stock Brake pads front and rear from the Zuma and in 4000+miles they were only down about 1 to 2 mm.
I had already purchased EBC HH pads for the front and rear , checked and cleaned the not too much dust etc from the caliper pistons and fitted the pads and re torqued all the bolts and pins........... Took out for a little test run and boy these pads are far superior to the original Nissin stock pads with a Great feedback and stopping power.
Well Chuffed  :082:

Hello,

I'll be interested in what the brake disk wear looks like... I was under the impression that HH were more aggressive on the steel plate.

Only marginally.
I've used HH ever since the originals wore out, and only changed the disc at 32k miles

Wow!  Helley Hansen. And here I thought they were only into clothing.
