Just curious what everyone uses.  In the US the most common types are 87, 89,91,93

I checked prices tonight and 91 is currently 50 cents more expensive per gallon than 87

Does anyone use 87 in their 250?

Thanks in advance

87 is all I ever use.  I have never had a problem.

Wow, 95 octane is standard, in the UK
98 Octane is fairly widely available, but considerably more expensive

oh US just want to be different  :112: like the imperial system
US use AKI system
while Europe and most of the world use RON system
so 87 AKI = 91-92 RON
and user guide use  Research method hence RON (Research Octane Number)
so no problem  :046:

Using 98 octane fuel lately, every 3 times out of 4 (the other one I add the standard 95 in Spain). I've noticed a small reduction in fuel consumption, about 0.2 litres/100 kms, mostly in open roads and highways. Cannot say about performance increase, honestly.
