Hi
Has anyone any feedback on the max weight driver and passenger. Im 95kg and my pal wants a lift somewhere local and he's also 95kg. Am i being cruel or do you think she will cope. Rear shock set to Max ?

Hi
Well the total carrying capacity of the GW250 is 365kg
Tyres should be set at 36 psi front and rear for this.
As the bike weighs 170kg dry you can calculate that you have 195kg to play with. Take off 14kg for a full tank of fuel and 2.1kg for oil you will have a 'spare' carrying capacity of only 178.9kg.
Looks like your mate will have to catch the bus unless you only put a minimal amount of fuel in the tank

Wind the rear pre-load up to max, there's bound to be some safety margin in the manufacturers figures

Thanks chaps. Yes will try it, about 10kg over and not going fast Or far. Certainly the gearing is low enough for two up.
Out of interest, where do you find the official figures. Ive trolled through the little owners handbook.
