accessories and modification that done / going to do
« on: June 09, 2020, 02:08:45 AM »
planned to add some accessories and changes some oe parts

tyres , ordered metzeler road tec 01 front and back OTW
when on some mountain road twisty last 2 week, IRC tyres are just so bad had some close call on dry road in corner, low speed city usage is fine but high speed and corner NOPE  :110:

Handlebar extension
the one from gw250inazuma is just too expensive with shipment ( shipping cost is more than the bar  :151:)
instead got the extension for ninja from aliexpress which uses M10 screw and follow @thatonedeadguy guide using masonry anchors to secure it (still waiting to receive) and far cheaper even with shipment

windscreen
puig WINDSHIELD NAKED NEW GENERATION SPORT ( back order still waiting ) wind wind on your chest and helmet

tank protector from Bagster
scratch will happen when you ride it daily for commuting,  i manage to produce a scratch in just 1 week   :138:

LED headlight 4500lm low light beast and 6000lm high beam
beware limited space, bigger cooling unit will not fit, less than 50~60mm (between the plate and end of cooling unit) or you will not be able to screw the headlight back
ring road commuting and most part are without streetlight ( same with freeway) France saving some electricity cost ...
lighting up all three lane while halogen only capable to only 1 lane also is much more cost effective to run LED

SAE cable, splitter and usb charger

comfort seat if my ass can't take it anymore  :745:

muffler is the last thing i will upgrade
prob from GPR DEEPTONE slipon and will cost 500€ :110:
2 in 1 is not going to happen, not with the center stand leg step sticking out

PUIG WINDSHIELD arrive 1 day too late after i did 400km highway round trip

first 200km without much headwind is fine
but windy when coming back is a nightmare

also with the average speed of 130km/h fuel consummation wasn't looking so good 5.5L/100km  :033:

will be going for another 400km round trip tomorrow, will update the difference with windshield on

I had the same windscreen on mine - looks very nice. However I hated it and could not get used to the dangerous way it weaved about in the wind at high speed (70+) so I took it off :(

did not like how the windshield is mounted with rubber compression nut , would change it when it come loose to nut,  bolts o-ring with tread locker

nice :152:, what did you add to be able to pull that trailer, sad that in France trailer coupling need to be certified or it's illegal ( or find a trailer that mount directly to the bike )

done my 400km trip with puig windshield, it hold up well, chest wind is gone, and all wind is directed up hitting just the top of my helmet and made the ride more pleasant,
i am 1m61 btw,  can imagine any one taller will take full wind blast on helmet
then you need windshield that are taller than 320mm
