I've just received access to the picture gallery, When I upload a file it is rotating the images -90 degrees? any suggestions.

Were they taken on your phone ?

It's due to the EXIF information contained within the image file which defines the orientation:

You can sometimes rotate them on your computer/phone as there are simple programs which do this for you. What are you using ?
