Removing/Replacing the rear Fender
« on: November 23, 2019, 09:11:31 PM »
I found this video about replacing/removing the rear fender.  It is on a GSX250R model BUT as the parts are common I suspect you would find that they also fit our GW250's.

What did your fender do to you?

First of all - Suzuki do not spend vast amounts of money to issue a new model.  They use common parts and I am therefore confident that this item will be found to fit a GW250.  Speaking to the Manufacturers of the OM part will quickly solve that issue.
Secondly, I have nothing at all against my rear fender BUT I have the F model which I am sure will look a lot better if I choose to fit this OM item and clean up the back of my F which should you have a look at the photo's of said model, the rear fender looks rather out of place.

Tail tidy's certainly improve the looks.

You do get quite a lot more spray off the back wheel - as my pillion will confirm  :164: :008:

What a wasted comment.  I only use my Motorcycle for pleasure.  If I have to go out in wet or cold weather or take more than myself I use something with 4 wheels, a roof, windows, window wipers and a heater called my car.  My GW250F exceeds all National Speed limits and is fun to ride on a nice warm sunny day.  AS it exceeds all National Speed limits, what would be the point in my buying say a Ducati Panigale which I could easily afford BUT which would cost more to run, service and Insure and be more likely to be stolen???

Each to their own. The Inazuma never fails to impress me, with it's capabilities.

But. I have another bike that makes over x5 the power of the Inazuma, and if I want to go out for the weekend, or to Europe on holiday, I know which I'd prefer to take  :002:
