Only just saw this message - hope you have sorted it ok.

The Harley that I have also has the charcoal canister on bikes sold in California because of the laws over there.
However, mine - which is a UK version, also has this charcoal canister - very strange  :084:
I was born with nothing and I still have most of it left !

No mate you didn't confuse me, I am always confused, just ask tookadum. :187: :187:

Lets hope you have put everything back in its correct position and the bike will run as sweet as a nut.  Have a few of these after you have tested the bike. :063:

That is indeed strange. You bought it new from a dealer or from private party?

The ride went fine. Bike is fine. But the photos I took before buttoning it all up, they are fairly lame, don't show the hoses very clearly.  Sorry.  But odds are that nobody in the world will ever want to reinstall the evap stuff anyway.

Well done.  It does not matter about the photos, you put it all back together and the bike is running fine.  :028:

Well this has nothing to do with the Inazuma but I am really confused and it carries on a little bit from the above conversation.

Charcoal canisters.......................
My understanding is that these are required (by law) in California.
Some Harley's are manufactured in America - for the domestic market only. They only have canisters if they are for North America.
Some Harley's are built in India and are for the rest of the world i.e. anywhere but America, so they never need a canister.

Mine was built in India - and has a canister ???

I will go and sit in a darkened room and ponder the meaning of life.  :112: :087: :159:
