Can someone identify this motorcycle?
« on: June 08, 2019, 06:42:28 AM »
In this video, first appearing at about 3:40?
I gotta figure Europeans have seen a lot more of them
than Americans....
I am thinking that is a Maico logo, but would be chuffed
to hear the size/model. I thought Maico only offered dirt bikes
in the US.

Definately a Maico from the logo. They did make a 125/250 road model but that was years ago, maybe 1960's / 1970's ??

Like many marques their logo changed over the years and that one looks like a relatively modern logo. That makes me think this might be a restored bike but partly done with more modern parts (not original).

Might be wrong but just my take  :038:

Okay, that would make sense. So it was maybe never a popular road model, just built by somebody or some shop. And borrowed for the music video because of its interesting look. "And you want me to let a teenager ride my bike?  No, he can PUSH it."

Thanks.
