Yep, a tyre inflator and a breakdown card is all that is needed for my baby  :169:

Something to bear in mind Kantara aka the leg end, some breakdown companies only come out if you are 5 miles or more away from home, I don't think the corner shop is that far away from you? So, if you want, I have my old trailer somewhere - you can load it up with all the mechanical tools you have then when you nip out to get your daily fix of jelly babies and WHEN you break down you can walk home, fetch your Mrs and she can then come down and use the tools to repair your bike.   :745:

    That's what mates do !  :169:

     :062: man  :062:
I have one of those puncture repair kits.  My mate has an old tyre so we are going to practice having a go repairing a puncture.

Allen keys/spanners/screwdrivers both flat and posidrive/zip ties.  Yup got these plus a small torch. :001:

Breakdown card.  Got two.  When I rang the firms they both said that my bike didn't need their service but they were happy to enrol me.  I did say I would pass on their phone number to a couple of members of the forum, one who has built his bike from SCRAP  :745: and the other, who I'm sure would never need it because he has a nice red and black bike which has done 40,000 miles and has not yet had an mot. :164:

Thanks for the info ref what to carry, I think I am all prepared to hit the road.  O hell I almost forgot, I carry a map as well just in case I get lost. :745:

Sweetpea it is I The LEGEND calling.

You don't need a breakdown card when you go to the scrap yard to see what you can get to make that thing look more ugly.  You just need a good sense of hummer. :745:

I checked with the breakdown companies and they said I only have to be one mile away from home to call on their service. :138:

I thank you for the kind offer of that trailer.  However I must decline. :003:  Although I would love to take you up on your offer my missus said she would buy me a new one.  I tried to reason with her but she said she don't want a trailer smelling of fish in her garage.  I know I should not have told her that was where you put the shoals of fish you caught when fishing.
I'm sorry sweetpee is was a slip of the tongue.   :019:

Mind you she is very mechanically minded.  However not as mechanically minded as our dog.
Many times I have given him a kick in the teeth and he has made a bolt for the door.  I really miss him and the bolts. :019:

I have gone off jelly babies.  I'm now into chocolate covered raisins. They do say raisins are good for you because they make your hair grow.  You should try some because they give you that certain feeling, like hell I hope the toilets are open. By the way are the tablets still working for you? :232:
