    Aussie scott, Hi mate.

Could you please inform me what the speed limits are in your country in/on the following:-

    a.   In towns.

    b.   Country roads.

    3.   Main roads.

    4.   Highways/motorways.

    5.   MPH/KPH.

I for one would be interested to compare them to our Country.

Many thanks.  Take care out there. :028:

Hey Kantara - hope you are not thinking of leaving us? I was only joking with ya mate!   :019:

But if you are considering it I would think of Swaziland - the dirt tracks there are more suited to your speeds!  :745:

    All speeds in Mph.

UK rule: max speed on single carriage way 60, duel carrage way 70, unless otherwise stated.

Different rules apply to commercial vehicles (lorries/trucks) and public service vehicles (busses) giving them lower max speeds.

In town, village or city, normally 30. May be higher if no/limited side roads/intersections on major road passing through a town/village/city.

All other roads depends. Anywhere from 40 to national limit of 60 for single carriage ways, or 70 for dual carriageways.
