I loved my little Inazuma, but I'd not go back to something that small and under powered again. I'm sure if I got a bigger bike than my 650 Vstrom then I'd feel that way too, but I don't think I could ever go back from an Adventure Touring style bike. I've taken it everywhere and there is no way I could have gone to half the places I've been if I was still on the Inazuma.

Horses for courses, my last bike was an old GSXF1100 so the thought of riding a 250cc wasn't an instant hit. However for the riding that I now do it's ideal, getting through heavy traffic on the 1100 was a pain in the ar*e some days. Also riding 13 miles each way (mostly dense traffic) doesn't require a bigger machine.

However with scenery like yours I'd be riding a bigger adventure type bike  :002:
