Oil drain plug
« on: May 13, 2016, 09:19:19 PM »
Hi Everybody!

My Name is Sascha and I am a Inazuma Biker since last week. GREAT Bike and I like IT very much. Here in Germany is this Bike not often on the street. IT seems, we the Germans, need more ps. However, i need help!

I have to change the Oil and will order the oil drain plug. I don’t found any informationen about the size of this oil drain plug. I am not sure about this size here: M14 × 1.25

I hope this Forum can help me! THANKS  :169:

Take care.
Sascha

:400: good to have you on board.
I changed my sump plug to a magnetic one very well worth doing as it grabs ALL metal swarf in your oil.
I am sorry cant remember the size but am due oil change and will check for you.

Hi Scoot!

Cool  :152:

I will buy a Stahlbus System. This allows me further a oil change without a replacement from the oil drain plug. I hope IT works.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Take care.
Sascha

The Inazuma uses a crush washer, which must be replaced every time.

Torquing the bolt correctly, is the most important thing  :002:

Hi Robell,

thanks for the advice!

The Stahlbus System works different. After the installation no replacement. The oil change takes place under valve control. In the next days my first oil change is due. I will install the Stahlbus System at this change.

Take care.

I've heard of those, never seen one
I assume they're locked off, so can't come open unexpectedly ?  :001:

@Robell

I will make picture while beeing the installation. I can share my experience with the System in the next weeks. I hope IT works. I also never was in touch with this system before. But i think IT can be a good choice to make a quick oil change in the future.

Take care.
