Sometimes members wish to add a link (to other sites) to their posts which are really long. When they are wider than the page they "break" the site's template and as a viewer it looks awful ![]() So in order to add a link that's really long do the following: 1. When composing your post, click on the add URL button: ![]() 2. Then add your URL link between the code and edit it so it looks like the example below. This example links to the MCN website: Code: [Select] MCN LINKIn your actual post it will look like the "Good Example" in 1. below. 1. GOOD EXAMPLE OF ADDING A LINK ![]() MCN LINK 2. BAD EXAMPLE OF ADDING A LINK ![]() http://www.motorcyclenews.com/nav?page=motorcyclenews If the actual link is short in length then the 2nd way is fine, but if it's quite long then the 1st example is best. ![]() |
